Brainwaves

Yes I know it’s late,

Yes I know I’ve missed,

I tried to forget,

But my brain does Insist,

That I write you this prose

For the daily prompt word,

I said “No-one’s gonna read it,

Your just being absurd”,

I tried hard to fight it,

Then simply concurred,

For like always the brain,

Will have the last word.
